file preperation specs

Below is a list of the steps you should take when preparing files to be sent for your project.

cd design specs

To start your design layout for your compact disc package design, send me any or all of the following:

1. 50% deposit must be paid to commence design work
2. Photos sent at least 300 dpi  / 5" x 5" (use my uploads ftp link or photos can be sent on disc).
3. Logos to be used (TIF or .EPS files are ideal).
4. Fill out and send back the CD design document. You may opt to copy and paste all text into an email as well as delete items that may not pertain to you. Please proof read your text before sending.  I will not be held liable for mispellings, etc. Since I pay attention to the design of text, any spelling or punctuation mistakes made on your behalf will be your responsibility. You will have a few opportunities to proof read before print.

* If any files or photos are sent via snail mail, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope if you'd like them returned. Extra charges may apply for scanning.

print design specs

2. Photos sent at least 300 dpi (use my uploads ftp link or photos can be sent on disc).
3. Logos to be used (TIF or .EPS files are ideal).
4. Fill out and send back the CD design document. You may opt to copy and paste all text into an email as well as delete items that may not pertain to you. 1. Photos can be sent at 72 dpi or bigger by email or by my ftp link
2. Logos to be used (TIF or .EPS files are ideal)
3. MP3's should be sent by using the ftp link.  If you need me to create mp3 files, extra charges will apply.
4. Send all text by email in .txt or .rtf format.  Please do not send a word document.   Text is not needed for the press, mailing list, events, or news pages. Please proof read your text before sending.
